Responsibilities:
- Accurately process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring timeliness and precision.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain and regularly update employee payroll records, including pay rates, benefits, and deductions.
- Assist with payroll audits by preparing and providing the required documentation.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies; respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and related concerns
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures by ensuring timely and accurate payroll adjustments.
- Generate and submit payroll-related reports for management review and regulatory
- compliance.
- Play both a strategic and transactional role, contributing to process improvements, identifying trends or gaps, and supporting broader organizational goals related to compensation and compliance.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience with UKG Ready is a PLUS or simular software

Qualifications:
- Must have multi state payroll experience
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll-focused role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage complex data accurately.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
