Highlights:
- Direct Hire
- Pay rate: $20-$30/hr
- Schedule: 2nd Shift
- Location: Beaver Dam
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain printing presses and saddle stitcher machines based on job specifications and layout sheets.
- Interpret and follow job tickets, color standards, and artwork to ensure accurate production.
- Monitor and adjust ink/water balance, web tension, color register, and folding equipment (Stahl, MBO, Baum).
- Perform quality checks throughout production, including proofs, trims, and final folded/stapled output.
- Conduct machine make-readies, routine maintenance, wash-ups, and assist with restarts and downtime.
- Follow all safety, OSHA, and EPA guidelines while supporting overall pressroom efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1 - 3+ years previous bindery or web press experience
- Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos
- Print Industry Experience is required
- Previous experience operating a Mueller and Martini, Heidelberg, Osako saddle stitcher
