The Program Specialist is a creative and collaborative professional responsible for learning and assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of youth programs at our client's company. This role is ideal for an individual with a background in education or a related field who is passionate about creating engaging and supportive learning environments. Responsibilities:
Program Support: Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of all youth center programs. Help create proposals for new programs and support existing ones to ensure they are engaging and effective.
Attendee Engagement & Mentoring: Directly work with attendees to ensure a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment. Serve as a mentor, assisting attendees with homework and general support during program hours.
Behavior Management: Support the implementation of the behavior program in accordance with the Policy and Procedure Handbook (PPH), helping attendees understand and follow the rules.
Coordination & Collaboration: Help coordinate the program schedule and collaborate with community partners, volunteers, and staff to enhance program offerings.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties related to program management, including tracking attendee success metrics and providing support for grant applications and reporting.

Skills:
Experience in a school, childcare, or similar educational environment.
Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics.
Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent follow-through.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Some level of education experience or a background in an education or human services field.
Attendee-Centered Approach: A sincere desire to further the youth center's mission, with a compassionate and relentless work ethic.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with attendees, staff, and volunteers.
Self-Motivation: Proven ability to be a self-starter and goal-driven, with a track record of following through on tasks.
Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, self-confidence, common sense, and excellent listening skills.
