A Project Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Their role is to help keep track of the financial aspects of any project. This includes the maintenance, invoicing, analysis, and financial aspects of each project.

Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements,
etc.
Reconciling work that has already been processed.
Verify entries based on system reports and balances.
Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Mentor to Project Coordinators in accounting principles as it relates to all aspects within projects.
Understand all client contracts to ensure accurate billing is maintained.
WIP- responsible for reconciling on an ongoing basis.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Prefer 2 years in cost accounting principles.
Prefer knowledge of general ledger accounting reconciliation
AS in Accounting or
BS in Accounting
Education:
Associate
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of working experience in accounting related field.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and NetSuite.
Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques.
Experience in Multi-State Construction Accounting.
Accounting skills
Excellent organizational skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
This is NOT a remote or Hybrid position. This will require work on site in Flowery Branch GA daily.
