      This job role is a customer service representative in the insurance industry. While clerical duties such as documenting and filing are important, this job also requires a level of business sense and ability to adapt to an ever changing manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:-This role will consist of but will not be limited to the following descriptions:Will coordinate logistics and oversaw billing activities.-Audit shipments.-Manage outbound shipments.-Manage the negotiations and relationships with freight carriers for inbound and outboundfreight for Truckload, LTL, and Domestic and International Small Parcel.-Collaborate with the warehouse manager to maximize warehouse efficiency and reduce laborcost.-Audit and verify work order records to minimize shipping errors.-Assess, evaluate, recommend, and implement new processes, initiatives, and technologiesto deliver effectiveness and reduce cost.-Monitor the quality, cost, and efficiency of the movement of inbound and outbound shipments.-Collaborate with other departments as necessary to identify challenges, develop and implementsolutions.-Prepare various documents including packing lists, invoices, truck bills, etc. for all outboundshipments.-Ship parcel shipments with UPS, FedEx, and USPS as well as LTL and truckload shipments.-Assist the warehouse with picking, packing, labeling, and re-boxing as needed.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:-Must be able to handle multiple customer accounts expeditiously and accurately.-Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to carriers and potential carriers.-Must be prepared to tackle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.-Must be able to lift upwards of 15-20lbs.-Must be able to adapt to all deviations from the responsibilities listed above if instructed.Education:High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:-High School Diploma-1-4 years of manufacturing experience-1-4 years of customer service-Must have experience with software/computer use (i.e. Microsoft Suites) Apply now not only to just a job, but the potential for the first step towards your career!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
