      Spherion has partnered with a non-profit organization based in Fort Myers seeking an experienced Program Director to join their Fort Myers team. This position is an "All In" position and must be flexible to working in an organization that is grass roots and constantly evolving. Through family intake and enrollments, individual counseling, group facilitation, community outreach, program development, and team building, the Program Director will provide support, care and compassion for the organization's children and their families as well as fellow staff members. Must have a deep passion for helping children overcome trauma and grief. This is a direct hire opportunity!Responsibilities:- Committed to walking with families through their entire organization's experience, from the time they call, to the time they graduate from the grief support program.- Responsible for making sure each family has a personalized approach to their grief journey, providing support, assessing their ongoing needs and making sure their experience at the organization is impactful and life changing.- Oversees grief support operations, including leading the grief support and family care teams.- Works with the clinical team to assess when a child may need individual counseling and or intervention.- Works as a clinician seeing children and families for individual support and counseling when needed.- Recruits, trains and inspires a team of grief support employees and group leaders to make sure they are delivering top notch grief support care to all families in our community.- Facilitates grief support groups and has a true compassion of grief and how it impacts a child and family.- Works with Director of Training to assure efficient ongoing grief support volunteer training.- Works with Director of Enrollments on process for conducting orientations, family tours, and helps make recommendation for best group placement for children and caregivers.- Works with program and clinical team to formally evaluate all families a minimum of twice a year on targeted outcomes to monitor their progress in the organization's grief support program.- Works with program team to develop an interactive grief support curriculum per semester to allow children to talk about their loss in a creative way.- Works with Director of Enrollments to oversee process for family history paperwork and signed permission forms needed to participate in support groups, and making sure all information is entered in and tracked in database system.- Stays current with grief and bereavement training and education, willingness to learn as much about the grief and bereavement field as possible.- Attends annual National Alliance for Children's Grief Conference in Orlando in June 2022.Acts as spokesperson for the organization at community speaking engagements.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Proficient in technology, running reports, data entry, and an ability to learn new and multiple computer programs.Education:MastersExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:- Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or other human services field is required. - License to provide therapy to children and adults in the state of Florida strongly preferred. - A personal understanding and passion for grief on children, teenagers and adult expected. - Experience managing a team and growing an organization and or company needed.- Must have a valid Florida Driver's License and a personal vehicle for work related travel. - Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs. of program supplies and office related materials.- Must be comfortable and available to work some nights and weekends.
