Extra pay is available for employees willing to work during the holidays.Available Shifts: Days: 8am to 8pm (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on and 3 off)Nights: 8pm to 8am (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on and 3 off)Pay: $15-$16 with perfect attendanceResponsibilities:The Extrusion Assistant Tech is responsible for basic operations of the extrusion lines, packaging, labeling, and quality of product the lines generate.- Pulls, trims, lifts, and loads finished product- Threads lines- Cuts and accurately weighs, reports and discards scrap- Reads and interprets set up sheets- Wraps completed pallet trays with stretch film to prepare for shipping- Pulls pallets from pallet stacks- Assists with ensuring line operates continuously, notifying Sr. Operator or Team Manager of any issues- Operates manual or electric pallet jacks- Completes QC paperwork accurately following established standardsWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PMSkills:- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment- Strong organizational skills combined with good problem-solving skills- Collaboration and team attitude- Basic mathematics skillsEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:-Dependability and punctuality- Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. on a continual basis for a 12-hour shift (with another team member assisting)- Ability to climb onto machinery and rolling staircases while following all applicable safety rules and guidelines- Previous experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is preferred- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check- High School/Equiv If you are in the market for a long term career, we have found the perfect position for you!
