      To safely operate the palletizing machinery ensuring that only quality finished cans are properly loaded and packaged on pallets for shipment to the customer.Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Palletizer Operator responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: ???Manages machinery set-up and adjustment and inspects products to ensure compliance to standards???Operate the controls of the palletizing machine so that the proper configuration of cans, slip sheets and top frames are loaded onto each pallet, making sure each pallet has the proper pallet ticket attached.???Stand up tipped cans, replace voids and remove jams to maintain standard production.???Visually examine cans for defects and discard as appropriate. Monitor larger patterns to see if pallet is properly packed and replace missing cans.???Visually examine pallets, top frames and slip-sheets and remove if defective.???Check drops and conveyor system when flow is stopped and clear minor jams as necessary.???Report equipment malfunctions or can quality issues to the Team Leader or Back End Maintainer.???Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow safe working procedures. Perform visual checks of finished lids to ensure entire process is in compliance.5.Complete required paperwork and documentation such as process check sheets, log books, and ESE and maintenance check sheets.6.Ensure that End Center finished product is properly cured, wrapped and stored and perform quality checks as required.7.Check conditions of forklift and perform pre-operating checks as required (if assigned).8.Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and follow all safety procedures and work practices.9.Assist in other production areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans and ends through the plant.Working hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PMSkills:REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 1. Ability to operate end line bagging stations which package finished can ends into bags and to prepare pallets of ends for delivery.2. Ability to complete required quality and visual checks to insure process is within specifications and to enter data and complete documentation as needed.3. End Line Operators assigned to the end line will work one of three possible shifts: first, second, or third.
