Compare items packed with customer?s order and other identifying data. Coordinate multi-drop loads with Fleet department. Prioritize the order in which the trucks are loaded, according to departure times/completion percentage. Coordinate with liaisons when loads are changed due to weight/cube/backorder issues, so they may relay the information to the warehouses/customers. Provide relevant information to the truck loaders for loading carriers, containers, etc. Ensure that all available material is shipped correctly, trucks are loaded, and communicate status of shipments. Relay any new information to the truck loaders pertaining to their loads. Coordinate discrepancies on trucks with management of different departments to verify the shipments. Spherion Temple is looking for a Logistics Clerk supporting a local area company! The selected candidate will: Consolidates load lists for all products shipping on trucks/carriers. Coordinates all loads leaving facility with loaders, liaisons, outside locations and company drivers. Performs other tasks as required.Responsibilities: Compare identifying information, weigh or measure items of shipments to verify information for bills of lading, invoices, orders and loading lists.
