CMM Operators/Quality Inspectors are responsible for providing leadership and direction in support of the company's Quality Management System. This will require an individual who is a self-starter, motivated and multi-task oriented. Candidate should be experienced with inspections in a production/manufacturing environment. CMM Inspectors utilize a CMM for dimensional inspections, (detail parts, components, and assemblies) and provide reports to support inspections performed. Duties will include (but not limited to) receiving an inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, disposition and control of nonconforming product, first article inspection and record keeping.Responsibilities:Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.Always consider safety before action.Operate CMM in automatic program mode, using (PC DMIS) programs.Manipulate CMM results using CADInspection and calibration of inspection fixtures and hand tools.Preparation of layout reports using the computer.Maintain department equipment.
