Work with all levels of Employees, Loan Officers, and Senior Management to ensure policies and procedures are met while maintaining quality, efficient, working relationships.Responsibilities:-Responsible for overseeing assigned staff members of Credit Admin, as necessitated by both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives established by Senior Management.-Effectively communicate relevant loan operation related information to Credit Admin Manager and Senior Management Team.-Develop, plan and implement loan operation and processing goals, programs and procedures to improve productivity in consumer loan servicing. -Determine proactive solutions to consumer loan servicing issues and problems.-Research, resolve, and respond to member disputes, including loan recast requests. Write correspondence to loan members as needed. -Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including: hiring, direct job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff promotion and termination, as appropriate. Train staff for system enhancements and procedure changes. -Simultaneously hold employees accountable to their job descriptions, conduct performance reviews and provide guidance, training, and direction to staff in developing and implementing plans and objections. -Receive and review monthly Departmental time cards prior to submitting to HR. -Conducts testing on software releases and upgrades to minimize errors and problems following implementation. Participates in the workflow creation process when new procedures are implemented in the department. -Consistently go above and beyond typically expected work schedule to accomplish what is needed for the benefit of the Credit Admin Department.-Serve as a role model for other Credit Admin Department personnel with regards to effective communication, respect for others, ability to work with others, and dedication to both the Credit Admin Department and the Credit Union as a whole.-Handle difficult personnel issues directly; use appropriate discretion and respect for all.-Implement staff suggestions to improve Departmental processes and procedures.-Serve as primary liaison between the consumer loan servicing area of Credit Admin and the Credit Admin Manager as well as all other Departments.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:-Ability and willingness to align Credit Admin goals with larger organizational strategies.-Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.-Strong analytical and organizational skills.-Ability to produce effective written policy and procedure documents, using proper sentence structures, punctuation, grammar, and spelling.-Ability to manage time, resources and personnel.-Possess working knowledge of principles and practices of supervision, training and performance evaluation.-Ability to prioritize work and oversee multiple simultaneous projects.-Ability and willingness to establish Departmental schedules to ensure continuous Departmental coverage and equal break times for all employees.-Ability and willingness to pursue and obtain additional professional training and/or certifications as needed.-Ability and willingness to work with a variety of office equipment and software systems.Education:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:-Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or banking preferred but not required.-1-2 years professional experience in loan operations or lending environment preferred but not required.-1-2 years supervisory experience required.
