The Receiving Material Handler is responsible for efficiently unloading, verifying, and organizing incoming materials and products. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, proper labeling, and timely movement of materials to designated storage areas. Responsibilities:
Unload incoming shipments from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually when necessary
Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders, packing slips, or invoices
Inspect materials for damages or defects and report discrepancies to the supervisor
Label and tag received materials appropriately
Enter receiving information into inventory management systems or logbooks
Safely transport materials to appropriate storage locations or staging areas
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed
Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
