        Spherion has partnered with a fast paced Haines City manufacturer seeking an experienced In-bound Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This position will manage inbound transportation shipments for all of the company plants facilities.Responsibilities:-Working with Procurement team members, raw material suppliers and transportation carriers to coordinate inbound logistics. -Daily communication with procurement team members, raw material suppliers, and transportation to ensure timely response on time-sensitive action items-Using PowerBi and TMS, review all Open PO???s and ensure timely delivery of tankers and raw material ingredients. Communicate delays or potential issues as soon as possible.-Support intercompany transfers by providing transportation and ensuring respective departments -Act as backup support to outbound logistics team.-Develop transportation relationships: identify opportunities to reduce overall freight spend through support of Procurement team by issuing RFP???s and tender offers.-Review freight invoices and ensure freight invoices match agreed terms for services rendered.-Maintain and update logistics cost spreadsheet on shared drive.-Request transportation orders and receive orders in AFS.-Work with AP to validate inbound freight invoices.-Attend weekly meetings to discuss transportation, process improvement, business strategies, and other topics.-Review and respond to emails within one business day.-In collaboration with Director, Supply Chain, enhance and automate transportation workflow using the ERP test environment prior to drafting suggestions.- Coordinate with Director, Supply Chain work shift and time off. - Other duties as required or assigned.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- An analytic mind and good numeracy skills.- Excellent geographical knowledge.- Good coordination skills.- Excellent financial acumen.- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High School or GED diploma required, but BS Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred- Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry.- Good intuition to make crucial judgment calls.
