      Packaging materials returned to us by our customers; may be pallets, cardboard slip sheets, and/or top framesResponsibilities:1.Sorting of cardboard slip sheets that are returned by customers. Sheets must be in good condition to be put back into production. Training aids are available to define a good sheet versus a bad sheet. Examples of bad sheets would be damaged, ripped, stained, and/or contaminated. Any old production tickets would also have to be removed and discarded.2.Sheets that are deemed fit for production are to be stacked neatly in the designated area. The bin for stacking sheets also shows the maximum height of the stack.3.Sheets that are not fit for production are to be stacked in a separate pile and will be banded up and sent to the recycler.4.Sorters may also be asked to separate good and bad rectangular plastic top frames. The correct number of frames then needs to be stacked neatly on a pallet for use in production.5.Each person will be required to assist with daily housekeeping duties in the area. Two Front End Maintainers guide the steel sheet through the lubricator and into the press.From this point the Front End Maintainers are responsible for the set up, operation and maintenance of the cupping press, body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.Responsibilities:Duties And Responsibilities:?       To safely operate the palletizing machinery ensuring that only quality finished cans are properly loaded and packaged on pallets for shipment to the customer.Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Palletizer Operator responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: ???Manages machinery set-up and adjustment and inspects products to ensure compliance to standards???Operate the controls of the palletizing machine so that the proper configuration of cans, slip sheets and top frames are loaded onto each pallet, making sure each pallet has the proper pallet ticket attached.???Stand up tipped cans, replace voids and remove jams to maintain standard production.???Visually examine cans for defects and discard as appropriate. Must be able to follow blue pints and directions.Responsibilities:Welding Electrical boxesRead and interpret engineering drawings as needed for accurate and safe performance of the jobFollowing Standard Operating Procedures and/or Standard WorkEnsure a high level of quality by completing required in-process quality checksFollow work order directions and safely produce the quantity of parts required and within the required specificationsComplete and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operationOperate specific assembly toolsPerform other duties and projects as assignedWorking hours: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AMSkills:-Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect parts produced-Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must-Excellent communication skills-Frequent lifting, standing, and bending required-Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of metal materials and safely utilizing mechanical lifts-Attention to detail is a mustEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:This is a fast paced and physically demanding position.
