Responsibilities:
Act in a consultative role as a partner and trusted resource with customers
Help grow the company through the acquisition of new accounts
Maintain existing house accounts
Work to improve the sales mix with current customers
Conduct training seminars, continuing education events, lunch and learns, etc.
Help launch and promote new product lines
Meet sales goals as determined by Sales Manager
Meet with Sales Manager weekly at designated standing meeting time and bring
questions, ideas, tasks to Manager at that time
Meet with customers on timeline and frequency determined by Sales Manager
Maximize use of resources by meeting with as many customers in one area on the same
day
Input all meetings and customer touches into designated CRM system within 24 hours of
customer contact
Turn in all receipts weekly
Maintain sales car and communicate service needs to Sales Manager
Stay within budget set forth by Sales Manager
Attend all trade shows, industry meetings, and seminars as requested by the Sales
Manager
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in funeral industry is a plus
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Consultative sales skills
Account management (new and existing clients)
Customer relationship development
Territory and time management
Valid driver?s license and ability to maintain a company-provided sales vehicle
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
