Responsibilities:
In this essential role, you'll be responsible for keeping the production facility spotless and ready for the next shift. Your duties will include:
Cleaning & Sanitizing: Thoroughly cleaning facilities and equipment in a timely manner, ensuring everything is prepped for the next day's production.
Chemical Application: Using sprayers and hoses to apply the correct chemicals for cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing.
Washing Down: Applying hot water (120-140 degrees) and cold water washdowns to all equipment, floors, and walls.
Detailed Cleaning: Cleaning specific equipment parts, overheads, pipes, lights, and the smokehouse. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the breakroom and bathrooms.
Waste Management: Gathering trash and transporting it to the compactor, as well as squeegeeing floors and cleaning drains.
Following Protocol: Sticking to a daily sanitation schedule, completing the Master Cleaning Schedule, and using the correct chemicals at specified concentrations.
Inspection & Assembly: Performing pre-inspections to minimize deficiencies and assisting with the reassembly of machines for a smooth start-up.

Skills:
Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals
Accurately complete all necessary paperwork as directed

Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
Must be able to communicate with co-workers and supervisor
Must be able to work in a cool environment (40 degrees)
Excellent attendance and dependability
Must work with both pork and beef products in a cold environment
