Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Cost Accounting: Manage inventory control, labor reporting, and the development/application of overhead rates.
Analysis & Controls: Provide variance analysis and strengthen internal controls, policies, and job costing procedures.
Operations Support: Assist with accounts payable, cash forecasting, and treasury functions.
Audit & Tax: Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external advisors.
Systems Management: Maintain and integrate accounting/ERP data across platforms (MAX, Great Plains, Fishbowl, and QuickBooks).
Process Improvement: Collaborate with developers and external departments to streamline transaction recording and system integrations.
Skills:
Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
Software Expertise: Specific experience with MAX, Great Plains, or Fishbowl ERP.
Self-Management: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Experience: 4+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: High level of expertise in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of ERP systems.
Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
