Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all operational and facility functions, including food procurement, distribution, logistics, inventory, food safety, workplace safety, facilities, and fleet maintenance
Provide leadership and strategic direction to manage an effective supply chain
Ensure a safe, secure, clean, compliant, and well-organized facility
Supervise the distribution and warehousing of food, adhering to best practices and regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT, AIB Food Safety, and Feeding America)
Manage efficient transportation logistics, delivery/pickup routes, and vehicle fleet maintenance
Work Environment:
Controlled office temperatures and non-regulated high temperatures in the warehouse
Sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting/moving up to 65 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
Exposure to various weather conditions, noise levels, and working conditions
Implement and maintain adequate internal controls for operational assets, including inventory, equipment, facilities, and technology
Create, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for areas of oversight
Manage the Safety Committee and participate in other relevant committees
Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster relief plans
Collaborate on technology infrastructure, provide recommendations, and ensure smooth implementation of new systems
Manage vendor and consultant contracts related to operational needs
Serve as a member of the leadership team, providing operational perspective for strategic planning, budgeting, policies, and procedures
Prepare and present reports as directed or mandated by regulatory authorities
Promote collaboration, communication, and information flow among all staff for operational efficiency
Engage in professional development activities to enhance job performance

Forklift and Food Safety Certification or the ability to certify
