Job Description:
As a Welder you would be responsible for welding metal pieces and structures. You would also be utilizing fabrication equipment and performing quality checks.
Responsibilities:
- Weld and assemble metal pieces and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Use fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and welding machines
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- Assist in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
- Experience welding thin gauge metals
Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
Skills:
- MIG and TIG welding
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Understanding of metal types and thicknesses
- Understanding of math (fractions decimals, and measurements)
- Stick welding (preferred)
