In this crucial role, you'll be on the front lines of our revenue cycle, ensuring timely collection of accounts and resolving insurance challenges. If you have a knack for follow-up, a sharp eye for accuracy, and a passion for helping others, then you're exactly who we need!
Responsibilities:
Become a collection expert: Manage and resolve accounts receivable to meet our cash goals.
Patient advocate: Help patients understand and resolve their insurance concerns.
High-volume hero: Process an average of 50 accounts daily, making a significant impact.
Proactive problem-solver: Stay on top of high-balance accounts with weekly follow-ups.
Denial crusher: Respond to payer denials within three business days.
Detail-oriented defender: Utilize account reminders to ensure timely follow-up on aging accounts.
Escalation master: Know when to escalate complex issues to leadership for swift resolution.
Accuracy ace: Ensure payments are accurate and appeal underpaid claims with precision.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in accounts receivable, with healthcare experience highly preferred.
Proficiency with Meditech and word processing software.
Seasoned employment skills: You're comfortable reading reference materials, performing intermediate math, and preparing professional letters and reports.
