Our client, a senior living community in the Goleta area, if in need of an Administrative Assistant to join the team on a full-time, long-term basis. The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for residents, vendors, and visitors, and will play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day office functions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a property management setting and be proficient with AppFolio property management software.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the front desk point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and physical mail, directing communications appropriately.
Assist with the preparation and processing of lease documents, notices, and resident correspondence.
Maintain accurate resident records, vendor files, and digital documentation in AppFolio.
Schedule maintenance requests and vendor appointments, and follow up on open items.
Track and report on community-related tasks such as inspections, rent collection, and service logs.
Support the property manager with administrative duties including data entry, reporting, and supply coordination.
Ensure the office remains organized and that resident interactions are handled professionally and warmly.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
Experience in a property management environment is preferred.
Proficiency with AppFolio property management software is strongly preferred.

Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written/verbal communication
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office technology.
