This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to promoting equity in housing. You will help manage resident certifications, lease compliance, and general property support. This position is temp to hire.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with initial, annual, and interim recertifications and ensure compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC guidelines.
- Accurately calculate rents and manage tenant applications, leases, and renewals.
- Maintain detailed resident files and records.
- Address resident inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct property tours and support leasing efforts.
- Help maintain high occupancy rates and program compliance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Project-Based Section 8, vouchers, and LIHTC programs is preferred.
- COS Certification or Tax Credit Certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Onesite, Microsoft Word, and Excel a plus.
- Strong file management and rent calculation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management.
- Team player with a solutions-focused attitude.
