      A Procurement Buyer is responsible for identifying and procuring the goods and services that an organization requires. They identify external material needs of the organization, find services providers who can supply these goods, negotiate for prices and arrange for the purchase and delivery of the goods.Responsibilities:- Identify Purchasing Needs- Determine the purchasing needs of the organization. - Work with other parts of the organization to forecast demand and evaluate inventory levels, and take orders from within the organization.- Negotiate with Suppliers and negotiate directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options. - Bid, award, and administer project supply, services, and construction subcontracts and purchase orders to suppliers.- Calculate cost management to identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyze the impact of pricing changes for goods and services- Responsible for the management of the inventory of materials and services, and keep detailed records of purchases and stocks.- Carefully monitor deliveries and any past due shipments.- Build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.- Conduct routine supplier business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Self-directed and detail oriented, Have an inquisitive nature and the desire to solve problems with analytical thinking. Must be available to work Monday - Saturday between 7am - 7pm. THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION - NOT WORK FROM HOME.Responsibilities:-Conducts reviews of applications submitted by schools and libraries for discounts for internet access, internal connections, internal broadband services and equipment and determines eligibility based on guidelines provided-Processes invoices for discounts on equipment and services according to Program guidelines-Communicates with applicants through email, E-Rate Systems and by telephone to obtain the required documentation required to process applications-Utilizes desktop procedures, checklists and other documentation to process applications and invoices according to Program rules and guidelines-Performs quality reviews of applications and invoices when required to ensure accuracy-Escalates issues and questions as they arise when processing Program documentsWorking hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PMSkills:--Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products--Strong knowledge in IT networks, infrastructure and/or broadband communications--Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail--Works on assignments that are routine in nature; however, ability to adjust to complexities in work assignments as they arise--Acquires job skills and learns applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments.--Able to read, understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.--Communicates routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal & external contacts.Education:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:--High School diploma or GED required with a minimum of two years of college preferred;--Associates degree preferred If interested apply today and call our office at 956-961-4298 to be set up with an interview.
