We are currently seeking a Claims Coordinator to support our our client's Coordination of Benefits (COB) team. In this role, you will receive, review, and process member correspondence related to COB. Youll be responsible for uploading this documentation into member profiles using our internal system, HealthRules. This position requires someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable navigating spreadsheets and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents. Highlights:
- Temporary 1 year contract
- Pay rate: $20/hr
- Schedule: 8am-5pm or 9-6pm (flexible)
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin, Remote but need to go in the first day and potentially once a month for meetings
Responsibilities:
- Review and process incoming member letters related to coordination of benefits
- Upload COB documentation to member profiles in HealthRules
- Analyze and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) forms to ensure claims are processed correctly
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and review member information
- Create, edit, and manage electronic files and folders
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed while maintaining productivity with minimal oversight
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in health insurance or provider billing office (required)
- Familiarity with health insurance terminology and claims processes
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
