Spherion Temple is seeking a dedicated Device Support Tech to provide first-level technical support for handheld devices. This position involves responding to requests via phone and online to address hardware and software issues, ensuring users remain productive. Responsibilities:
Respond to phone and online requests for help with device-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems or escalate issues to the next level of support.
Learn and apply standardized procedures for assisting users with their technical needs.
Provide remote assistance to guide users in resolving device and computer-related problems.
Identify recurring technical issues and notify the relevant teams for improved solutions.
Ensure all requests are handled promptly to minimize downtime for users.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with handheld devices and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
Familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools and methods.
Experience in providing customer service or technical support.
Basic knowledge of networking and system connectivity issues.
Ability to recognize and report recurring issues to improve overall system reliability.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of experience or technical training related to troubleshooting handheld devices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours when necessary to resolve issues.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in an office environment.
