Responsibilities:
Direct daily maintenance operations for the facility, grounds, and essential equipment
Create and execute proactive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
Prioritize urgent repairs and oversee scheduled maintenance to ensure continuous operations
Coordinate with leadership on facility upgrades, capital investments, and maintenance budgeting
Hire, train, and supervise maintenance personnel while fostering team development
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Monitor departmental expenses and manage inventory of tools and spare parts
Skills:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business, or a related field
Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM)
Familiarity with building systems, refrigeration, and industrial equipment maintenance
Experience working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including industrial settings
Strong leadership background with a focus on team development and strategic planning
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance (5-10 years preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze problems and implement practical, cost-effective solutions
Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform maintenance tasks in various conditions
Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repairs or seasonal needs
