Responsibilities:
Assisting patients with applications for Financial Aid, Medicaid, and other programs.
Advising patients and their families on financial obligations and securing payment arrangements.
Processing patient refunds, credit transfers, and assisting with estimates for hospital services.
Working with internal departments and outside vendors for insurance verifications and collections.
Training new employees and staying current on all relevant state and governmental regulations, including HIPAA standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A compassionate and customer-focused approach.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of relevant work experience.
The ability to work independently, prioritize your workload, and make independent judgments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with Meditech B/AR and ADM is a plus.
