We are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Planning Manager to join our team. In this role the HR Planning Manager will play a key part in building our clients? workforce strategy, aligning HR systems with global standards, and ensuring compliance in a rapidly scaling manufacturing environment. The HR Planning Manager will be instrumental in working with all departments and ensuring all standards and compliance are met.
Responsibilities:
As the HR Planning manager, you will be responsible for:
Developing and executing workforce planning strategies for U.S. operations
Design and implement mid- to long-term HR strategies tailored to manufacturing
Manage collaboration with external recruiting platforms and headhunting firms
Plan, improve, and oversee HR systems (recruitment, training, performance, compensation)
Coordinate HR communication with HQ (Korea) and global subsidiaries
Oversee visa issuance, renewal, and compliance for U.S. hires and expatriates
Develop visa strategies for business trips and long-term assignments from HQ
Monitor legal and policy changes related to immigration and labor compliance, and liaise with external counsel as needed
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience in HR, Workforce Planning, talent acquisition in the U.S. preferred
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or MBA (Business, HR, Industrial Engineering, or related fields preferred)
SHRM or PHR Certified required
Bilingual in Korean and English preferred but not required
Prior experience in HR, Workforce Planning, talent acquisition in the U.S. preferred
Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment
Excellent computer and reporting skills needed
Expect in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent Medical which includes international coverage with no deductible and very low co-pay
PTO ??? 120 hours a year (pro-rated if starts after the 1st of the year)
160 hours on the 3rd year
48 hours sick leave annually (does not roll over)
