Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support within a fast-paced production and office environment. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user technical support across office and plant environments
- Set up and configure PCs, laptops, and related hardware/software
- Support desktop users in corporate, manufacturing, and remote locations
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or in person; log and track issues through resolution
- Assist users with accessing network resources and resolving connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts via Active Directory / Microsoft Entra
- Monitor antivirus and Windows security updates to ensure systems are protected and compliant
- Help maintain software/hardware inventories, licensing records, and documentation
- Support backup systems and perform routine operational IT tasks
- Collaborate with external IT partners on infrastructure, virtualization, and Microsoft security tasks
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office products
- Basic understanding of networking and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to lift and install computer equipment (e.g., cases, monitors)
- Experience with wiring data cables and setting up network hardware
- Familiarity with Active Directory and workstation imaging/recovery
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with VOIP phone systems is a plus
