Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery, including but not limited to, conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.Perform lubrication, calibration, and adjustment of equipment components to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.Diagnose equipment malfunctions and mechanical/electrical failures using diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals.Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as sensors, switches, bearings, belts, and electrical wiring, to restore equipment functionality.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to minimize production disruptions.Collaborate with production staff and other departments to prioritize and address critical issues in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.Report any recurring or potential problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and recommend solutions for long-term reliability.Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies related to equipment operation, maintenance, and environmental standards.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on new technologies and best practices in maintenance.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives through the implementation of maintenance best practices.
1-4 years
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.Basic knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial control systems is a plus.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.Fully skilled in one or more trades (433A Millwright preferred)Basic welding skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Ability to reach, write, and understand English.
