The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and facility equipment.
Manage the daily upkeep of machines, tools, and facility systems.
Research and identify necessary repair parts, including sourcing vendors and pricing.
Create and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Inspect and evaluate the operational condition of all assigned equipment.
Ensure cleaning procedures are followed to prevent equipment damage.
Attend weekly production and safety meetings.
Take ownership of resolving any production delays related to equipment failure.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in equipment operation training.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
Skills:
4+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience developing or improving preventative maintenance processes.
Familiarity with safety compliance and participation in safety-related meetings or programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with manufacturing equipment.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Able to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced setting.
Must be able to safely operate tools and equipment.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read and understand technical materials.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including management, quality, and production.
