The Material Handler is responsible for the timely and accurate unloading, receiving, and transporting of incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods. Using forklifts, hand trucks, pallets, or manual lifting, this role safely moves inventory between shipping and receiving docks, production workstations, and designated storage locations to keep plant operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Stage raw materials, transport inventory between docks and workstations, and securely store products.
- Quality & Receiving: Validate incoming shipments for accuracy, review receiving documentation, and maintain digital records.
- Operational Support: Cross-train in various departments and provide backup support for shipping clerks.
- Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organize, and properly dispose of debris and waste materials.
- General Duties: Perform other operational tasks as assigned by leadership.

- High School or Equivalent (Required)

Qualifications:
- Technical & Basic Skills: Strong basic computer, math, and written communication skills.
- Tool Competency: Comfortable and capable of safely operating basic hand and power tools.
- Language: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to complete all required transactions and shipping/receiving documentation.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Equipment Operations: Seated forklift experience is required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain company forklift certification.
