Responsibilities:
This position works with inside sales, shipping, receiving, hose assembly, inventory and production teams.
Aids the General or Regional Manager on achieving annual revenue, profit, and staffing plans.
Responsible for successfully planning, controlling, and managing product and service deliveries to ensure that customer needs are met.
Hires and maintains a productive staff. Ensures employees are properly trained and prepared for career growth.
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Maintains a high level of organization, tracking unresolved issues including customer complaints, and bring them to resolution.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the business ensuring operations in accordance with company policies and procedures to include review of P&L with GM/RM and Finance department.
Develop and lead production schedules and priorities.
Lead modern warehousing activities including shipping, receiving and inventory functions.
Promotes adherence to ISO Quality and Environmental Management. Recommends improvements to these systems.
Implement lean processes throughout the entire system.
Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities through development of value stream mapping.
Promote and improve flow of product and information.
Utilize lean tools to drive toward perfection of performance and process.
Perform analytical functions assessing situations quickly to determine the most beneficial resolution to opportunities while maintaining focus and deliver results within agreed upon time frames.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certified Fluid Power Specialist preferred but not required.
Education:
Bachelors

4-7 years

Strong operations and production experience.

Lite manufacturing (or production hose assembly) and distribution functions.
Fluid Power product knowledge with emphasis on Parker products is a plus.
Valid Driver?s license, Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Able to travel by car within several hundred miles of branch and occasional overnight. Some air travel expected.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of three years related experience managing/supervising lite manufacturing and distribution. Fluid power or industrial distribution preferred.
