        The Machinist Apprentice will be responsible for loading & unloading parts in and out of a CNC Machines to ensure the parts are in compliance per the drawing and manufacturing inspection plan.Responsibilities:-First priority is keeping production parts loaded and unload in the assigned CNC machines per set-up instructions/work order.         A Bay City Manufacturer is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their team! This is a long-term position with starting compensation between $18-24/hr, depending on experience. Interested candidates should be able to work well in a team environment and also independently. They will be working directly with Programmers to improve efficiencies as well as be involved in process planning. Previous experience with CNC machining is required (emphasis on programming). Employees will train on 1st, (6a - 2p), then move to 2nd or 3rd shift for the long-term. (2nd is 2p - 10p and 3rd is 10p to 6a.)Responsibilities:The CNC Machinist is responsible for set up, methods involving edge finders and indicators, qualify first piece production, fine tuning and operating machines to perform accurate and efficient operations on projects having close and exacting tolerances and high resolutions aesthetics.
