These are temp to perm opportunities!Positions: Finishing and Press OperatorsAssignment: temp to permShifts: 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am)Pay Rate: $16.15/hr - $18.00/hrResponsibilities:Finish molded parts per work instructions in an efficient and safe mannerFollow standard operating procedures, WIP scanning procedures, work instruction, safety procedures and established manufacturing practices as defined by Finishing department managementMaintain open and effective communication with shift leadership and notify shift leadership immediately of any issues or concerns throughout the shiftEnsure press settings correspond with press specifications (e.g. time, temperature, bumps, and pressure)Ensure correct preps of rubber have been brought to the press and that they haven't expiredCheck flash thickness twice per shift and log into c-chartPress process sheets must be followed on how to spray and load moldsUse various types of compression molding processes which include Drop Jig, Slide Jig, and ID/OD Jig loading in addition to the hand loading of preforms to the mold cavitiesInspect and identify defectsKeep work area clean and mold platens free of any stray O-rings when stripping molds, production reporting accuracyWork near moving mechanical parts for 2/3 or all the timePerform other duties as required or requestedWorking hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:Requires use of grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; must be able to use decimals and fractions, formulas, charts, tables and specsMust be able to check and fill out reports and forms as directedMust be able to use measuring instrumentsEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:High school graduate or equivalent in work related experience While working through Spherion you are eligible for the following benefits:HealthDentalVisionREFERRAL BONUSES!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
