This District Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), structural steel, and metal building components across the Midwest region. This is a direct-hire leadership role that requires managing the full sales cycle, strengthening relationships with key industry partners-including general contractors, erectors, and developers-and securing profitable, long-term business. The successful candidate must leverage a strong technical understanding of PEMB and steel systems, combined with advanced business development skills, to expand the companys market share and ensure sustainable, profitable growth throughout the territory.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales Growth: Manage the districts entire sales cycle, including quote generation, pipeline expansion, and improving the bid-to-win closing rate.
- Strengthen Key Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, erectors, and developers to secure business and achieve preferred supplier status.
- Provide Technical Consulting: Offer expert technical guidance on Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMBs), structural steel, and components during the sales process.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track district performance using KPIs (revenue, pipeline value) and analyze lost bids to identify and implement improvements.
- Coordinate Operations: Ensure accurate and timely quoting by coordinating closely with internal teams (estimating, engineering, operations) and upholding all company and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Business preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience in PEMB, structural steel, or building materials preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PEMB systems, structural steel erection, and component sales.
- Ability to manage a territory and grow sales pipelines.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel extensively across the Midwest
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn internal quoting/tracking systems.
