The Professional Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is partnered with a thriving organization based out of Richland County, Ohio, seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop a growing sales team in the industrial distribution and B2B eCommerce space.
This is a direct hire opportunity with a high-growth company that has bold expansion plans over the next 3–10 years. With an already successful eCommerce operation and a wide range of SKUs, they're poised for explosive growth—and they need a hands-on, structured leader who can scale with them. The targeted compensation range is $80K–$110K, with consideration for exceptional experience and leadership depth.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of the inside sales team
- Lead pipeline reviews and team meetings to drive sales accountability
- Build and execute onboarding and training programs to ramp up new team members
- Develop structured sales processes, expectations, and team playbooks
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing data-driven insights
- Enforce CRM discipline (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to ensure consistent pipeline management and reporting
- Assign leads and territories strategically while resolving any related disputes
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to support long-term strategy and execution
- Address customer concerns that require management involvement but not executive escalation
- Provide steady, supportive leadership in a fast-moving, results-focused environment
What You Bring:
- Experience in sales leadership within industrial, janitorial, or high-volume distribution environments
- Deep familiarity with B2B eCommerce sales models, digital customer behavior, and online funnels
- Proven ability to coach and mentor a sales team toward exceeding KPIs and revenue goals
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn performance data into action
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-SKU, and rapidly scaling business
