As the Senior Accountant/Controller, you'll be the backbone of financial operations. You'll be the sole accounting expert on the team, so you'll have to have a comprehensive understanding of the entire accounting process from beginning to end. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:Financial Management: Prepare financial statements, perform account reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all accounting reports.Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop revenue projections, expense forecasts, and manage company taxes in collaboration with our tax consultant.Capital & Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset records, ensure capital spending adheres to corporate policies, and meticulously log all capital expenditure requests.Auditing & Compliance: Prepare for annual audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial regulations.Leadership & Mentorship: Lead by example, offering guidance and mentorship to new hires and coworkers while also collaborating with other teams on capital expenses and payments.

We need someone with a solid foundation in accounting and a knack for leadership. The ideal candidate will have:Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience as an accountant, supervisor, or manager.Technical Expertise: A minimum of 3-5 years of technical accounting experience, with proficiency in general ledger functions Experience in the manufacturing industry and with inventory reconciliation is a plus.Certifications: A CMA certification is preferred.Essential Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
