Spherion Staffing is assisting an Accounting Firm in Fort Myers with their search for a Tax Accountant. This is a direct-hire role. They are searching for a skilled individual who can use their technical experience to solve problems with tax preparation and planning.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare personal, business, estate and trust tax returns
- Resolve technical questions
- Make recommendations for refinement of engagement procedures
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients through all phases of the engagement
- Keeping up to date with financial and other business developments in the clients??? organizations and industries.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- QuickBooks experience a plus.

Education:
High School
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
- At least 7+ years??? work experience in a public accounting and the tax profession
- Solid grasp of personal and business tax returns.
- Prior experience with preparing business and personal tax returns.
- Highly competent in MS Office and other service area-specific software
