As a Program & Policy Analyst - Advanced, youll play a key role in shaping how FoodShare (SNAP), Medicaid, and FSET (FoodShare Employment and Training) engage with members across Wisconsin. Your work will focus on removing access barriers through smarter outreach, clearer communication, improved systems, and stronger policy.
This is a long-term, fully remote contract position through Spherion, offering both stability and the flexibility of remote work - with the added impact of making real change in the lives of Wisconsinites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve outreach and enrollment strategies for FoodShare and FSET
- Collaborate with internal teams, researchers, and community partners to improve the member experience
- Gather insights from stakeholders to guide policy, training, and systems improvements
- Support cross-agency coordination on food and nutrition policy
- Deliver presentations and trainings to both internal and external audiences
- Prioritize equity, accessibility, and clarity in all member-facing work
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of FoodShare (SNAP) and FSET policies and enrollment processes
- Skilled in engaging diverse stakeholders and synthesizing feedback
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience designing or improving public-facing policy, outreach, or service delivery
- Commitment to health equity and improving member access
- Wisconsin residency is required; occasional in-person meetings expected
