Responsibilities:
Administers policies and procedures in all phases of human resources activity, including hiring and hourly payroll.
Recruits, interviews, and recommends selection of hourly personnel to fill vacant positions.

Conducts new associate orientation, with a goal of instilling a positive attitude toward company goals and policies.
Processes weekly payroll in Kronos.
Administers all aspects of the Family Medical Leave Act program and all disability claims.
Conducts periodic 'small group' meetings with all associates.
Assists associates with health insurance questions and researches problems.
Acts as a liaison between associates and the health insurance carrier.
Keeps records of insurance coverage and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, departmental transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
Prepares associate separation documentation, and conducts exit interviews with hourly associates to determine reasons for the separation.
Conducts new hire and benefit orientation.
Oversees the processing of the prescription drug program and flex spending account use for reimbursement.
Enters benefit information for hourly associates in UltiPro.
Responsible for monthly associate report.
Assists with planning activities such as annual hearing testing, first aid training, flu shots and spiro exams for respirator users.
Records associate information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports.
Compiles and maintains records for use in associate benefits administration, including criteria for health and fitness credits.

Qualifications:
Must have experience with benefits administration in a Human Resource department, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. Associate's degree in HR or Business from two-year college or five years related experience (HR and HR Benefits).
