Our Client in Duluth, MN, is seeking a Legal Secretary to perform diverse secretarial tasks for assigned attorneys and/or paralegals while upholding confidentiality and maintaining positive client relations.
Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Efficiently operate office technologies including computers, software, email, copiers, scanners, and dictation equipment.
Draft and type legal documents, ensuring proper filing using document management software.
Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Handle incoming calls, take messages, and manage inquiries, directing calls appropriately.
Manage incoming/outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery and distribution.
Maintain calendars and deadline systems using a master calendar.
Prepare materials for meetings, court appearances, and hearings.
Welcome clients and visitors while preserving confidentiality.
Schedule appointments for attorneys/paralegals.
Enter time, proofread pre-bills, and manage administrative tasks as needed.
Skills:
Proofreading and editing skills.
Organizational abilities for record-keeping and filing.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse clients and staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, along with secretarial, legal, and computer training or relevant experience.
