A Material Handler/Driver is a customer-facing role that handles both warehouse operations and deliveries. Key responsibilities include operating a semi or straight truck, maintaining a valid DOT/CDL license, and ensuring a clean driving record. You will also be responsible for safely unloading, identifying, and labeling raw materials, as well as preparing all shipping and receiving documents. Responsibilities:
Receiving: Monitoring incoming raw materials, unloading them with required machinery, verifying materials against purchase orders, and properly labeling and storing them.
Material Handling: Moving materials between locations, staging materials for production, and maintaining a high level of productivity with minimal rework.
Load Securement: Demonstrated ability to safely secure each part and pallet on every load, ensuring cargo is stable and compliant with safety standards.
Shipping: Preparing all shipping documentation, ensuring finished goods are undamaged and accurate for outbound shipments,securing products in the trailers securely and safely, and maintaining an inventory of shipping supplies.
Driving: Completing scheduled delivery assignments, picking up and dropping off parts from vendors using a semi-truck or straight truck, and reporting daily delivery status to a supervisor.
Vehicle Maintenance: Performing daily vehicle checks to ensure D.O.T. compliance, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting maintenance needs.
Operational Duties: Collaborating with production and planning to maintain schedules, developing performance standards with a supervisor, and demonstrating flexibility in work hours to complete tasks. The role requires compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintaining a good attendance record.

Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random screenings

Maintains a valid DOT License and CDL License.
Must have strong communications and listening skills, professionalism, and have the ability to handle diverse situations with a positive attitude.
