The Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities at the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities:
Lead all plant-level financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
Partner with plant leadership to drive operational performance and cost improvements.
Oversee the accuracy of inventory accounting, product costing (standard, actual, and variance analysis), and capital expenditures.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, US GAAP/IFRS, internal controls (SOX, if applicable), and local statutory regulations.
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to support decision-making in areas such as pricing, inventory valuation, and cost reduction initiatives.
Analyze production efficiency, waste, scrap, downtime, and yield to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and control working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and plant performance reports.
Support audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of any findings.
Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals.

MBA/Masters CPA/CMA preferred

7-10 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance required (CPA/CMA or MBA preferred).
5+ years of progressive experience in financial roles, with at least 2 to3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Exceptional knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Global Shop, JD Edwards).
Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with standard costing and manufacturing KPIs.
