Spherion is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support this work. This is a long-term, fully remote position offering paid time off, holidays, and benefits. Youll manage multiple large-scale initiatives, participate in bureau leadership discussions, and help guide the successful execution of projects that affect health policy and access statewide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project scope, goals, work plans, and timelines
- Lead and align internal/external teams across complex initiatives
- Track progress, manage risk, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate resources and ensure alignment with bureau and division priorities
- Prepare and present outcomes to executive-level audiences
Qualifications:
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Demonstrated success working with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams
We are especially interested in candidates with:
- Healthcare experience, particularly Medicaid or large-scale healthcare operations
- Experience managing projects of $5 million+, especially in public-sector or healthcare settings
- Public agency or government background, with insight into state or federal processes
- Team leadership or mentoring experience, with the ability to coach and grow others
- Strong proficiency in collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce, Canva, or similar platforms
