Note: All training will be done on 1st shift from 6:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. with a pay rate of $21.61 an hour. When you move to your regular 2nd shift, you will receive a $1.25 differential for a total of $22.86 an hour!Typical hours will be Monday - Friday, 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., OT as neededResponsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Follow all safety rules and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards Assure that the weekly production schedule is completed on time Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency Assure that all products are made to the highest standard of quality Operate machinery used in the production process Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operations of any malfunctions Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances Help production workers by performing duties of varying skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment Record information such as the number of products tested, readings, and dates and times of product productionKeep work areas and equipment clean and organized ? Start machines or equipment in order to begin production processes Separate products according to weight, grade, size, and composition of materials used to produce them Offer suggestions for improvements of operations or processes Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained ?
