      Local Insurance Company is seeking an Incoming Mail room Clerk that will process endorsements and index all incoming faxes, mail, emails, and Cash/check processing.Responsibilities:-Route incoming faxed, mailed, and emailed documents to the appropriate departments-Perform policy support by routing non-monetary paper endorsements-Process undeliverable mail, including Lexis Nexis -Each member of the team will specialize in processing specific transaction types with the goal of having everything processed within 24 hours of receipt-Respond to lender requests for zone changes on policies-Route and/or return all unidentified paper, email and fax documents-Redact all sensitive SS & CC information-Work independently with moderate supervision as well as within team environment-Maintain an established level of productivity using time management techniques-Able to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday-Prepare paperwork for scanning: remove staples/paper clips; tape photos to blank pages-Assess documentation and match to the appropriate bar code to ensure system accuracy-Scan and index documentation into the system to the appropriate policy. Once scanned, the information is forwarded to the correct department for processing.-Process flood insurance documentation using technical systems and equipment such as Nautilus, company website and a multi-function scanner-As needed, will communicate information to other areas within the business using written and/or verbal communication-May be assigned additional duties by department supervisorWorking hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:-Keyboarding skills to include 10 key and data entry skills-Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook-Requires attention to detail and high standards of accuracy-Curious mindset with a focus on process improvement-Self-StarterEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:-High School Diploma or equivalent-1+ year of Office/Administrative background preferred-Reliability and dedication to the position is imperative.
