        Position Overview:The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering benefits and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.Responsibilities:Key Duties and Responsibilities:?Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.?Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.?Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.?Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.?Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.?Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.?Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.?Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory Requirements:?Manages the day-to-day functions of one Safety Coordinator, providing guidance and leadership in ensuring a safe workplace for employees.?Manages the day-to-day functions of two Gate Attendants and partners with the security vendor to ensure coverage at all required times.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:.Education:BachelorsExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired. This position administers human resource activities including high volume recruiting and day to day employee relations programs for a site facility within a geographic area. This is an immediate direct hire opportunity offering $70K + 15% bonus potential & a robust benefits package, qualified candidates please apply with a current resume for immediate consideration.Responsibilities:Specific duties include, but are not limited to:-Responsible for high volume recruiting of hourly positions in a high turn over manufacturing environment. -Manage talent acquisition requisition process, including all appropriate approvals. -Responsible for recruiting of professional and administrative positions as well as hourly operations recruitment.-Scheduling interviews, submit background checks, write job offers, handle pre-hire / new hire paperwork, new hire entry, time clock set up, all employee changes into ADP for all assigned location. -Employee relations responsibilities including handling employee complaints and concerns, assisting leaders with first level employee relations such as verbal warnings, coaching and counseling, written warnings, and provide guidance to leaders on employee suspensions. Elevate higher level issues to Sr. Manager, HR. -Work with Sr. Mgr. HR to obtain approval for any termination requests. Elevate to VP HR as needed. -Management of workers compensation reporting for the site, including first report of injury to be sent to Sr. Mgr. HR. Assist EHS leader with near miss investigation as needed. -Work closely with Sr. Mgr. HR on all compensation matters and compensation related approvals. Elevate to VPHR as needed. -Management of payroll related exceptions and timecard approval with local managers to prepare batch for corporate processing. -Handle e-verify, manage personnel files, distribute benefit enrollment paperwork from corporate to employees without email, and assist with employee kiosk use for new hire benefit enrollment and annual open enrollment process. -Coordinate distribution of leave of absence paperwork in conjunction with the Corporate Benefits Manager. -Work with leadership team on development needs and engagement initiatives.-Handle local harassment or hostile work environment investigations with guidance from Sr. Mgr.
