Local manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced industrial painter to join their wonderful team!Responsibilities:Prepares and cleans products to be paintedApplies various coatings to products Maintains an orderly and productive work areaWorks from directions given on job packetSafely operate forklifts and overhead cranesPerforms other duties as assigned to accommodate changing work loadWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMSkills:Minimum of 2 years on-the-job experience of mixing 2-part coatings of various types.Minimum of 2 years experience in preparing and cleaning products to be coated.Experience in using pressure pot and spray equipment.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs required.Working knowledge of overhead cranes and proper rigging techniques.Able to read and follow blueprints.Ability to work in extreme environment with known hazards such as heat and cold.Able to wear a company supplied respirator and conform to the rule of facial hair not being obtrusive to the respirator.Education:High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMust submit to background check and drug screen Please register at www.spherion.com/apply.
