        The role of the HR Manager is essential to our continued growth and success. You will utilize your Human Resources expertise to develop strategies for employee recruitment, engagement and retention while working with the leadership team providing counsel for continued improvement through strategic initiatives.Administration & ComplianceResponsibilities:Oversee employee performance and develop employee growth plan; assist with job evaluationsEmployee Benefits Administration; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Disability, etc. Possess comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits programs to communicate and provide education and awareness that drives employee participationOversee employee relations issues, coach employees on performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution.Provide counsel and act as an independent advisor for employees and leadership in challenging situationsAssists with the planning and execution of special events such as company meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, team building eventsOversee the Employee Engagement Committee; design and implement engagement activities based upon the results of the employee engagement committeeMaintain Employee Relations-communicate pertinent dealership information to employees on a consistent and ongoing basisSkills:Understand the company's vision, mission and goals to set individual performance plan accordinglyMaintain the organizational structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positionsCounsel managers to identify and implement actions that improve or maintain a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and integrity and provide a great work experienceIdentify organizational issues and work with leadership to develop recommendations to improve performance (i.e. mentoring, team building, training)Manage and develop in-house Customer Service employee training program that aligns with the core valuesEducation:BachelorsExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or University preferred 5+ years of experience in Human Resources ManagementPHR/SHPR, SHRM-CP Certification is desiredKnowledge of Federal and State Employment lawsAbility to manage, protect and maintain confidential informationMust possess engaging personality with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution skills and diplomacy and confidentiality in sensitive situationsPlease send resume to joycestevenson@spherion.comSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
